We know that you are concerned and anxious about your pet, especially when hospitalized. In addition to daily updates, we welcome visits to your pet. For many of these pets, continued hospitalized care (IV fluid support, pain medication, constant monitoring) is essential. With this in mind, we do ask that visits be scheduled. This will allow for timing of your pet's treatments to ensure the most effective and seamless care. Typically, visits will be limited to about 20 minutes in a room or about 10 minutes if needed in ICU.
We generally limit visitation to be sure the treatment of your pet and others in the ICU is undisturbed. Please call to set up a convenient time with your doctor for your visit.
Each visit must be pre-scheduled with your pet’s doctor because the doctor must be in the hospital at the time of your visit. Your pet’s doctor is the only one who can give you accurate and up to date information on your pet’s condition and answer any medical questions. One (1) visit per day per pet is allowed and all family members must be present at the same time. All minors must be accompanied by an adult and the group may not have more than three (3) members.
Visiting times are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are limited to 20 minutes.
Because we are staffed for Emergency Services only, visiting is not permitted on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
